Cresswell Quay

Cresswell Quay

‘Cresswell Quay’

This AA roadsign is attached to the side of the Cresselly Arms in Cresswell Quay, Pembrokeshire. I’ve seen it many times and wanted to photograph it, I love the weathered state of the sign and the rusting that has developed over time. A simple shot grabbed the last time I was at the Cresswell Quay enjoying a relaxing drink whilst the tide rolled in.

The image can be seen here on my flickr photostream alongside my other work.

Carew Castle

Carew Castle

‘Carew Castle’

A quick snapshot taken on a trip walking around Carew castle in Pembrokeshire. It was such a bright morning, I just managed to salvage this picture. Cropped from the original image, it’s just about at the limitations of my camera as zoomed in there’s a fair bit of noise. This was shot using my Sigma 10-20mm lens.

The image can be seen here on my flickr photostream alongside my other shots.

Technology – Lego Star Wars Polaroid Minifig Rebel Alliance

Lego Star Wars Polaroid Minifig

‘Lego Star Wars Polaroid Minifig’

My dad picked up this old polaroid camera for me at a carboot sale a couple of weeks ago, it’s been knocking around a bit since then waiting to be used. I thought I’d keep up the lego shots with a quick one before heading off for the weekend. I liked the idea of these minifigs being interested in the futuristic technology of the Polaroid camera, and it brings together some of my interests in Photography, Lego and Star Wars. Shot handheld in my kitchen using the trusty 50mm lens and on-camera flash.

The shot along with my others, can be seen here in my flickr photostream.
