Lego Series 6 Minifigures

Lego Series 6 Minifigures

Lego Series 6 Minifigures     Lego Series 6 Minifigures - Braveheart Lady Liberty Lego

Just a quick couple of mobile shots of the new Lego Series 6 Minifigures. Lego seem to be rolling these out fairly regularly now. I hadn’t realised they’d been released till I spotted a huge promotional poster on the high street. The figures that particularly interested me were the robot and statue of liberty, so to get these straight away was a bonus.

These photos were taken with an app on my smartphone to give the aged polaroid look. I like the style it adds to the photo and makes the shots that little bit more interesting with increase in saturation. I’m quite impresses with the focus ability of the camera on my mobile, it boasts 8 megapixels, but was able to focus accurately on these figures at close quarters.

Now I just need to come up with some interesting situation shots for these figures…

Thanks for looking,
Chris

While I was back at my parents over Christmas, I took the opportunity of the less intense light pollution of Cardiff to get out and take some star shots. As it turned out, of the 8 or so days I was there, there were only 2 clear nights. The first shot was taken on my first trip out, despite there being no clouds it was still very windy which didn’t allow for much inclusion of trees due to the motion blur. I did manage to salvage the one shot though which shows a dark crisp country lane.

When I ventured out for the second time, I didn’t stray far from home. The second shot was taken from the back garden of my parents house. I set the camera for a 15 minute exposure and left it whilst I headed back into the warmth. I’m really happy with the results considering there was not a huge amount of thought that went into the setup of the shot. I’m not trying to think of interesting locations/subjects for the next opportunity I get when I’m next in West Wales.
